Do you remember this? Well, I took a bit of time to sleep on it and do a little thinking about colours etc and now the room is nearing completion.

The dilemma of the blue cupboard was solved by painting the pink shelves grey. I think this works so much better and means I could keep the blue. I used vintage wallpapers to cover the doors and the back of the shelves.

Another month has whizzed by and here we are in April, my favourite month. It's Spring and the time for renewal, rebirth and regeneration. This must be why I am frantically cleaning up the house, sorting out paperwork that has lain in piles for months, sorting through bags of clothing and sending things off to the charity shops.

I can't believe that it has been a month since my last post, where does the time go?!!! I have been so busy that it has flown by in a minute!

Anyway I am only popping by briefly to say that tomorrow, Saturday 3rd March, is the Textile Rag and Remnant Rummage at The Trull Memorial Hall on the outskirts of Taunton, TA3 7JZ. Brrrrrrr!! Isn't it cold?!! We have no snow here in North Devon but plenty of ice and our country lane is treacherously icy!

As a result I have spent a lot of time indoors going through fabrics that I have had for some time now and have put them in my eBay shop.

Happy New Year!

I hope this post finds you well and happy. My New Year has got off to a great start and I have many plans to make improvements to my home and work life this year.

This Saturday sees the wonderful annual event that is the Vintage and Handmade Christmas Fair at the Town Hall in Chipping Sodbury.

It is a lovely event with the best of makers coming from far and wide to sell their handcrafted goods as well as vintage dealers bringing things suitable for Christmas decorations, gifts and homewares.

The Vintage Bazaar

Tomorrow is the Vintage Bazaar, the wonderful vintage fair held in the Cheese and Grain , Frome, Somerset. There are lots of wonderful sellers there and for lovers of vintage it is a MUST!!

I will be taking lots of fabrics, quilts, clothes and haberdashery. New to my stock this time will be these wonderful fabric scrap bags.

New to the website this week are these beautiful old cotton reel drawers.

There are a set of British Sylko drawers made of painted wood with little plastic handles and some vintage French Cartier-Bresson drawers. These would have sat on the counters of good haberdashery stores selling these iconic brands of cotton.

They can be used to store cotton reels or any other craft or haberdashery items as they do not have any dividers.

What a wonderful sunny day!! I am busy getting ready for the Vintage and Handmade Textile and Fashion Fair on Saturday. It looks like being another great event with the usual wonderful stalls.
