Brrrrrrr!! Isn't it cold?!! We have no snow here in North Devon but plenty of ice and our country lane is treacherously icy!
As a result I have spent a lot of time indoors going through fabrics that I have had for some time now and have put them in my eBay shop.
I have also been stocking the website shelves with beautiful fabrics including these pretty cotton fat quarters. Perfect for quilting, patchwork or small textile projects.

Happy New Year!
I hope this post finds you well and happy. My New Year has got off to a great start and I have many plans to make improvements to my home and work life this year.
I have planned to attend lots of fairs this year, the website has been updated with new and exciting fabrics and I have had some great press already.
So, first things first, fairs - The next fair I am stalling at will be the Vintage and Handmade Textile Fair at Chipping Sodbury Town Hall on Saturday 25th February. This is followed by a new and exciting event in Taunton. The Remnant and Rag Rummage, organised by the Vintage Bazaar girls Lizzie and Clare.
Both great events and ones for your diary. I will update you as the year goes on.
I have updated the website which had been a bit neglected as I stocked my warehouse, prepared for fairs and prepared for Christmas. There is now a selection of bright and beautiful new fabrics in stock.

Tomorrow is the Vintage Bazaar, the wonderful vintage fair held in the Cheese and Grain , Frome, Somerset. There are lots of wonderful sellers there and for lovers of vintage it is a MUST!!
I will be taking lots of fabrics, quilts, clothes and haberdashery. New to my stock this time will be these wonderful fabric scrap bags.

New to the website this week are these beautiful old cotton reel drawers.
There are a set of British Sylko drawers made of painted wood with little plastic handles and some vintage French Cartier-Bresson drawers. These would have sat on the counters of good haberdashery stores selling these iconic brands of cotton.

What a wonderful sunny day!! I am busy getting ready for the Vintage and Handmade Textile and Fashion Fair on Saturday. It looks like being another great event with the usual wonderful stalls. Some new additions include Caroline Zoob and Edwin Dyson with his vintage menswear. Hope to see you there!

I am just back from Vintage at the Southbank, the Vintage festival curated by the Hemingway team to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the Festival of Britain at the Royal Festival Hall.
It was great fun and these are some of my highlights:

We are having a stall at the Vintage Weekend at RHS Rosemoor, Torrington, Devon on Saturday July 16th and Sunday July 17th.
This will be a great day out for all the family. The marquee will house an antiques and collectors fair with stalls and sellers from across the South West and beyond, offering a large selection of quality antiques and collectables of all sorts for sale.
