1910 Stunning French Floral Fabric

A beautiful original cotton textile sample from France produced in 1910.

Beautiful big florals and scrolls in shades of pink, red, mauve, purple and green on a cream background. The design is printed to look like a tapestry. So gorgeous!

Measures approx 81cm (32") wide x 49cm (19") long.

In good condition but there are a couple of tiny holes at one edge where the fabric was removed from the sample book. Both selvedges are intact.

This fabric was bought at auction in Paris and came from the famous Scheurer company who were one of Europe's great textile printers based in Mulhouse in Alsace, France.

This sample is museum quality and will appeal to collectors, designers and hobbyists who are interested in genuine antique textiles.
